Well, AI is the new trend. Even new calculator app intend to come with AI… Regardless of how much help it can bring -holy abacus-.

It’s natural for a human laziness to pass their tasks to an agent, which will help day to day tasks. Until the time that we can put our hands on PhD-level AI’s, I think agentic-AI phenomenon is what we’ll get.

So in this equation, Perplexity’s Comet comes into play as a browser. For a person -like me- who is not very deep into programming the models and all, this is a perfect gift. I have previously used scikit’s libraries to build my own AI’s via python, but I can say, it is already a pretty retro approach.

Perplexity’s Pro subscription was already bringing access to multiple AI agents at once. ChatGPT, Grok, Claude, Sonnet, Gemini and their own Sonar. Now they are allowing us to add batch jobs for AI. Let’s go one by one.

Let’s say there’s a repetitive or labor-intensive activity that you’d like to perform in a web-page. We go to that link and press Assistant button on the top right.

It already shows on the right tab some task that you can ask AI to perform. My prompt is;

I want you to send a tweet every one minute for the next 5 minutes. In each one, write an unknown fact about AI. I want you to send without getting approval.

It has perfectly accomplished what I have asked from it. What we can ask are literally limitless, email, calendar, orders it can just live there and be there for you. Where you can have your drinks with your friends and observing the results.

Tasks

This is the cherry on the top. Because here, you can just schedule jobs for your AI needs in a recurring basis.

Go to your side bar by clicking on your Profile Pic. And choose tasks.

Let’s use it to give some economic heads up with the recent information that is being published every week.

When we fill in how frequently it will be running and save, it will send the results every day at 4:00pm until the expiration date comes.

You can even also set price targets for stocks to get notified accordingly.

All these results can be pushed to your mobile phone via Perplexity’s app or it can be sent as an email each time.
